Sketching for design involves understanding the importance of stroke weights, the volume of an object in space, light and shadow and the medium of presentation. A designer always strives to create a good balance of these variables and try to create styles that are unique to them

The sketches presented on this page are part of my journey to explore these variables. I've explored sketching on different types of papers, using different mediums- on paper or digital, pencils of different stroke weights, hatching styles etc.
